Koliba kod Milunke - Zlatibor

Ovo je period godine kada volim da svratim na Zlatibor, svoju omiljenu planinu o čijem jednom restoranu sam vam već pisala. Mislim da je došlo vreme da vam predstavim jedan pravi etno raj na Zlatiboru. Vodim vas na ručak u Kolibu kod Milunke.

U blizini samog centra, a opet izdvojena od gužve, okružena sa svih strana svim prirodni lepotama Zlatibora, nalazi se ovaj restoran. Enterijer kao i bašta uređeni su u strogom etno stilu što i jeste za očekivati od restorana koji se nalaze na planini. Po mom mišljenju bi svi planinski restorani trebalo da izgledaju ovako. Što bismo rekli - da me maneš sa fensi mestima na Zlatibiboru!

I kako dolikuje onako domaćinski, čim smo seli naručili smo po jednu rakiju te smo uz ukuse domaće Dunje (180 rsd) i Maline (180 rsd) rešili da dobro pregledamo jelovnik.

Meni je pravi domaćinski. Naravno tu su bila jela sa roštilja, razne pite, topla i hladna predjela, ali ono što me je posebno oduševilo bio je odeljak sa gotovim jelima gde u proseku porcija košta od 400 do 500 rsd, što je zaista povoljno. Mi smo odlučili da baš probamo dva gotova jela jer smatram da su baš ta jela pravi pokazatelj kakav je restoran (ako izuzmemo hleb). Izbor je pao na Zlatiborsku mućkalicu (400 rsd) i Prebranac sa kobasicom (390 rsd), a naravno tome je prethodila Teleća čorbica (220 rsd). Uz ova jela rešili smo da probamo njihove Pečene paprike (180 rsd) jer je sezona već uveliko počela. Porcije su zaista ogromne, i biće vam potrebno dosta truda da sve pojedete. Ukus je bio odličan, pravi domaći kako sam i očekivala. Zlatiborska mućkalica posebno me je oduševila svojim ukusom i načinom serviranja, i pretpostavljam da im je ovo jedan od glavnih specijaliteta kuće. Jedina zamerka bila bi na kobasicu za koju nam je konobar rekao da je domaća, ali sa čime se ja ne bih baš složila, ali dobro. Kada smo već kod konobara nama je zapao malo pogubljeniji koji je uz prebranac zaboravio da donese i kobasicu, pa ju je naknadno samo ubacio u jelo. Doduše da li je to greška konobara ili kuvara nije ni važno, poenta je da nije profesionalno odrađen taj deo posla. Ali bez obzira na epizodu - kobasica- uživali smo u svim ostalim đakonijama koje su zaista bile preukusne i fenomenalno spremljene.

Koliba kod Milunke je jedno od onih mesta na kojima ćete se osećati kao kod svoje kuće i zato vam od sveg srca preporučujem da posetite ovo mesto. A ukoliko volite i zvuke tamburice, postoje večeri kada u ovom restoranu možete i da uživate uz živu muziku. Ja ću im se svakako sa sledećom posetom Zlatiboru opet vratiti, bilo muzike ili ne, jer ne mogu da zamislim da odem sa Zlatibora bez bar jednog obroka kod Milunke.

In this time of the year I like to visit Zlatibor, my favorite mountain, whose one restaurant I already wrote about. I think it's time to introduce you to a true ethno paradise on Zlatibor. I’m taking you to lunch at Koliba kod Milunke (Milunka’s cottage).

The restaurant is located close to the center, and yet isolated from the crowd, surrounded by all the natural beauties of Zlatibor. The interior and the garden are decorated in a strict ethno-style, which is to be expected from a restaurant located in the mountains. In my opinion, all mountain restaurants should look like this. As we can say – can’t be bothered with fancy places in Zlatibor!

As soon as we found a table, we ordered rakia (fruit brandy), and while enjoying the taste of the home-brewed Quince rakia (180 rsd) and Raspberry rakia (180 rsd), we decided to take a look at the menu.

The menu is rich. Of course, there are grill specialties, various pies, warm and cold appetizers, but what particularly excited me was a menu section with ready meals listed, and the portion costs from 400 to 500 rsd on average, which is a very favorable price. We decided to try two of the ready meals, because I think that these dishes indicate whether a restaurant is good or bad (if we exclude bread). We chose Zlatibor ratatouille (400 rsd) and Prebranac(baked beans) with sausage (390 rsd), and of course, we started with Veal chowder (220 rsd). With these dishes we decided to try their Roasted peppers (180 rsd) because the pepper season has already started. Portions are really huge, and you will need a lot of effort to eat everything. Everything tasted excellent, rich in flavor, as I expected. I was really amazed by the Zlatibor ratatouille, with its taste and its way of serving, I presume that this is one of the main specialties of the house. The only complaint would be on a sausage for which the waiter told us that it was homemade, but I wouldn't bet on it, but never mind. Speaking of  the waiters, we were served by one who was a bit disorganized, he forgot to bring a sausage that comes with baked beans, so he just put one on top of the dish afterwards. It doesn’t matter whether it was a mistake made by the waiter or by the chef, what’s important is that that part of the job wasn’t done professionally. But regardless of the episode - sausage - we enjoyed in all the other tasty tidbits that were really delicious and phenomenally prepared.

Koliba kod Milunke is one of those places where you will feel at home, and therefore, I warmly recommend you to visit it. And if you like the sound of tambura(instrument), on some evenings you can enjoy live music in this restaurant. I will definitely visit them again the next time I come to Zlatibor, no matter the music, because I can’t imagine leaving Zlatibor without at least one meal at Milunka’s.

Čarda na Tisi - Novi Bečej

Odavno je poznato da su članovi Gastro policije ljubitelji Vojvodine, pa ćemo vam preneti utiske iz još jednog restorana ove regije. Danas vam prepričavamo novobečejske avanture iz Čarde na Tisi.

Kada me je drugarica pitala da idemo na Velikogospojinske dane u Novi Bečej, koji se održavaju svake godine krajem avgusta, prihvatila sam voljno, ali iskrena da budem, nisam očekivala toliko pozitivnih utisaka. Ovaj grad u tim danima bukvalno živne i slobodno mogu da kažem da se po atmosferi ništa ne razlikuje od Beograda - gomila ljudi, svirke po ceo dan, uveče koncerti, moj neki utisak je kao da sam bila na Beer fest-u.

Sve to zvuči sjajno, ali bez dobre hrane sve to ne bi imalo toliko smisla. Po preporuci poznanika Novobečejaca, otišli smo na ručak u Čardu na Tisi.

Imali smo sreće da smo uopšte našli mesto, jer je bilo prepuno. Prijatna bašta, restoran u vojvođanskom stilu, drveni stolovi i klupe.

Meni je nacionalnog karaktera, sa pretežnom ponudom roštilja. Nismo se mnogo dvoumile i naručile smo Pileću ragu čorbu, Porciju od 10 ćevapa sa pomfritom i Šopsku salatu. Pre nego što napišem o hrani, osvrnula bih se malo na uslugu. Pored toga što smo dugo čekale da budemo uslužene (što, donekle, jeste razumljivo, s obzirom na gužvu), ne mogu da kažem da sam zadovoljna kako se ophode prema gostima. Kad nam je konobar doneo escajg i tanjire bili su mokri. Razumem da su prezauzeti, ali mislim da nikako nije u redu da dobijamo mokro posuđe. Na stolnjaku su bile mrve od prethodnih gostiju, a bio je i na nekoliko mesta pocepan, opušcima od cigareta.

Što se tiče hrane, tu su utisci veoma dobri. Pileća čorba je jedna od boljih koju sam jela i svakom bih je preporučila. Ćevapi su isto zadovoljili naša očekivanja i smatram da su jedni od boljih koje sam jela.

Cene su kao i u većini restorana u Beogradu, osrednje.

Ako volite Vojvodinu i ako budete u prilici, posetite Novi Bečej u vreme Velikogospojinskih dana, nećete se razočarati, verovatno ćete u nekom trenutku posetiti i Čardu na Tisi, pa nam prenesite svoje utiske.

It has long been known that the members of Gastro Police like Vojvodina a lot, so here are the impressions from another restaurant in this region. Today we are recalling the adventures from Čarda na Tisi, Novi Bečej.

When a friend of mine asked me to go to the Dormition Days, held yearly in Novi Bečej at the end of August, I accepted it willingly, but honestly, I did not expect to have so many positive impressions. This city literally livens up during those days and I can freely say that the atmosphere is no different than in Belgrade -a bunch of people, gigs all day long, evening concerts, I felt like I was at Beer Fest.

All of that sounds great, but without good food it would not make much sense. On the recommendation of our friends from Novi Bečej, we had lunch at the Čarda na Tisi.

We were fortunate to even find a table, because it was full. Pleasant garden, the restaurant in Vojvodina style, wooden tables and benches.

The menu is of a national character, the offer consists mostly of grilled dishes. It didn’t take us long to decide, we ordered Chicken ragout soup, a portion of 10 kebabs with French fries and Shopska salad. Before I write about food, a few words about the service. Beside the fact that we waited for a long time to be served (which, to some extent, is understandable, since it was crowded), I can’t say that I am satisfied with the way they treat their guests. When the waiter brought us cutlery and plates, they were wet. I understand that they are too busy, but I don’t think it's okay to get wet dishes. There were crumbs on the tablecloth from the previous guests, and there were also a few cigarette burns holes on it.

As far as food is concerned, our impressions are very good. Chicken soup is one of the better ones I've eaten and I would recommend it to anyone. Kebabs have satisfied our expectations as well, and I can say that they are also among the better ones I have eaten.

Prices are the same as in most restaurants in Belgrade, average.

If you like Vojvodina and if you have a chance, visit Novi Bečej at the time of the Dormition Days, you won’t be disappointed, you’ll probably visit Čarda na Tisi at some point as well, so share your impressions with us.

Godo

Miholjsko leto valja iskoristiti. A ja sam ovog puta rešila da prošetam po Savskom keju sa svojom dragom drugaricom i da sočne tračeve razmenimo na jednom splavu u ovom kraju. U pitanju je Godo.

Splav je modernog dizajna, i moram da priznam da sam ga zaobilazila jedno duže vreme baš zbog toga što sam mislila da je jedno od onih pozerskih mesta (koja ne podnosim), ali prevarila sam se i te kako. Kada smo se smestile na terasu sa predivnim pogledom na Savu shvatila sam da je ovo izuzetno opušteno mesto za nedeljni ručak (kakvo je stanje uveče, zaista ne znam). 

Konobara smo doduše maaalo duže čekale, na kraju čak i dozivale, ali dobro, ajde da ne cepidlačim i ja. Bitno da je došao i da nas je uslužio, a to da li je bio brz i šarmantan sam će proceniti na osnovu bakšiša, pa će se sledeći put potruditi više pretpostavljam. 

Meni je vrlo zanimljiv, sa nezaobilaznom ponudom za doručak, a ono što je zanimljivo su dnevne ponude ovog splava, pa tako za 400-500 rsd možete da ručate. Ponuda dana je različita svakog dana u nedelji, a na sajtu ovog splava možete malo više da se infotmišete o tome. Pošto je bio vikend, nas su dnevne ponude zaobišle te je naš izbor ovog puta pao na Mediteranski mix sa piletinom (595 rsd) i Saltimbocca bianca sa grilovanim povrćem (790 rsd). Ukus piletine u oba jela je bio sjajan, a osim ukusa bilo je i vrlo lepo i originalno servirano. Povrće je bilo takođe vrlo ukusno, i dobro začinjeno.

A s obzirom da smo bile vrlo zadovoljne glavnim jelom odlučile smo da naručimo i desert da vidimo da li su i na tom polju sjajni. Drugarica koja je ogromni fan palačinki odlučila se za Tiramisu palačinku (285 rsd), a ja sam naručila Crno beli mus od čokolade (265 rsd). Kada su nam doneli deserte, palačinka je na obe ostavila isti utisak - VAU - zaista originalno servirano i spremljeno. A što je najbitnije bila je i VAU ukusa. Mus je bio dobar, ali ne baš za visoku ocenu. Video se trud, ali jednostavno to nije bilo to.

Ukoliko ste ljubitelj sedenja pored reke u popodnevnim satima, Godo će vas definitvno kupiti. Uz veoma bogatu kartu pića i jelovnik sigurno ćete pronaći nešto po svom ukusu, kao što smo i mi.

One should make the most out of Indian summer. And this time, I decided to take a walk with my dear friend, along the Sava quay and exchange juicy gossips on one of the raft restaurants in this area. The raft restaurant Godo.

It’s modernly designed, and I must admit that I avoided it for a long time, just because I thought it was one of those places filled with poseurs (and I can’t stand those kind of places), but I was very wrong. When we took our seats on the terrace with a beautiful view of the Sava river, I realized that this is a very cozy place for a Sunday lunch (I really can’t tell what it’s like in the evening).

However, we waited a little longer for the waiter to come, eventually we ended up calling him by ourselves, but well, let's not quibble over minor details. It's important that he served us, and whether he was fast and charming, he can evaluate according to his tip, so I guess the next time he will try harder.

The menu is very interesting, with the inevitable breakfast offer, and what is even more interesting are the daily offers, so you can have lunch for 400-500 rsd. The daily offer is different each day of the week, and you can get more info about it on the website of this restaurant. Since it was weekend, we missed the daily offer, so our choices were the Mediterranean mix with chicken (595 rsd) and Saltimbocca bianca with grilled vegetables (790 rsd). The taste of the chicken in both dishes was great, and apart from the taste, it was also very nicely and originally served. The vegetables were also very tasty and well seasoned.

And since we were very satisfied with the main dish, we decided to order  desserts to see if they make those just as good. My friend, who is a big fan of crepes, chose Tiramisu crepe (285 rsd), and I ordered Dark and white chocolate mousse (265 rsd). When they served us desserts, the crepe left the same impression on both of us - WOW - really originally served and prepared. And what's most important, the taste of the crepe was also WOW. Mousse was ok, but not really for a high score. You could see someone’s effort to make it good, but, it just wasn’t enough.

If you are a fan of sitting by the river in the afternoon, you’ll definitely like Godo. You’ll surely find something that suits your taste in their rich menu and drink list, just like we did.
