Villa "Maska"

A sada nešto sasvim drugačije! Kada me neko pita šta očekujem od nekog mesta na koje idem prvi put, kažem da očekujem da ima da mi ponudi nešto što niko drugi nema, što je, složićete se, veoma teško. Kad kažem nešto što niko drugi nema, pod tim mislim na bilo koju vrstu originalnosti, bilo da se radi o ambijentu, jelovniku, muzici, itd. ''Maska'' je što se toga tiče veoma zadovoljila moje kriterijume.

Možete li da zamislite kad Vam neko kaže da ćete negde videti sve stilove, a da će to sve biti sa ukusom? Naravno da ne možete! Zato nemojte da zamišljate, nego dođite u ''Masku'' i uverite se da je i nemoguće moguće.

Smeštena u mirnoj uličici na Vračaru, u Rankeovoj, preko puta klinike stomatološkog fakulteta, Maska će Vas i pre nego što zakoračite u nju oduševiti originalnošću - ispred ulaza u vilu će Vas dočekati retro automobil prekriven travom i cvećem, na kom se nalaze sto, stolica i lampa. Pa kako odoleti i ne videti šta se nalazi unutra?

A tek kada uđete unutra, tu tek sledi niz prijatnih iznenađenja! Vila se sastoji od nivoa, sprata i prostrane bašte, a oko Vas svaki ćošak pleni autentičnošću. Tu se nalaze stolice u obliku šake, shinny disco balls, stilski nameštaj, kaučevi, drveni, metalni stolovi, itd. Dok šetate vilom, imate osećaj da prolazite kroz različite epohe i stilove, u jednom trenutku mislim da sam na Jamajci ili Uskršnjim ostrvima, a već u sledećem kao da sam se teleportovala u Englesku, u viktorijansko doba. Sve to možete da posmatrate tako što ćete se smestiti na udobne kaučeve i odatle će Vam pogled sigurno pasti na gomilu lampi sa zanimljivim abažurima, kao i na one modernije, ili se možete smestiti za drvene ili metalne stolice, gde će Vam, dok ćaskate, pažnju neprekidno privlačiti pregršt zanimljivih detalja, bilo u vidu figura, statua, tepiha ili slika. Skoro sam saznala, da je Maska i galerija i da je sve što ovde vidite i na prodaju, što me je prijatno iznenadilo jer zaista nisam imala predstavu o tome, bez obzira što sam im gost već godinama. Ovo mesto će na svakoga ostaviti utisak, a naročito za umetničke duše i ljude koji imaju svoj stil, verujem da je ovo mesto dušu dalo za modne blogere, ali ni nas gastro blogere nikako nisu ostavili ravnodušnima.

Meni je internacionalnog karaktera, što je, složićemo se, sasvim i očekivano, s obzirom na enterijer. Zaista ima sa svakoga po nešto i svako će naći jelo koje mu odgovara. Drugarica se odlučuje za ramstek sa grilovanim povrćem, a ja za rižoto sa morskim plodovima. Ramstek je bio i više nego ukusan - meso srednje pečeno, baš kako je drugarica želela, sa grilovanim povrćem koje je super išlo kao prilog, a ja sam, takođe bila veoma zadovoljna svojim obrokom. Morski plodovi sa rižotom u paradajz sosu, sa blago kiselkastom notom bilo je baš ono što je bilo potrebno mojim nepcima te večeri.

Uz ovako bogat i raznovrstan meni, bilo bi zaista nekorektno da ne pomenem vrhunsku ponudu koktela koji Vam još više mame čula na uživanje, za koji god da se odlučite bićete izuzetno zadovoljni. Hmmm, kad je sve ovako divno i sjajno, sigurno ima neki keč, verovatno je sve ovde preskupo, zar ne? Šalim se, cene su sasvim normalne, prosečne, kao i svuda, tako da se skroz uklapaju u odnos cena-kvalitet.

Pored super hrane i super ambijenta, ''Maska'' je poznata i po tome što organizuje super svirke, dovode bendove koji zaista znaju da naprave atmosferu, što izborom pesama, što energijom kojom zrače, svaki put bih se provela fenomenalno i odlazila sa utiskom kako je to bilo uspešno veče, koji god bend da je nastupao.

Ekipa je, kao i Maska, izuzetno raznolika, a u prepodnevnim satima uglavnom dominiraju studenti sa stomatologije, ali naravno, nisu jedini, ima i mlađih i starijih, što ukazuje na to da ovo mesto spaja sve stilove i sve generacije.

Ono što bih na kraju mogla da kažem, kao celokupan utisak, je to da je Maska mesto na kom zaista uživam svim čulima i mesto kom se uvek rado vraćam, bilo da idem na kafu posle posla, da prezalogajim nešto, ili da izađem, mesto za sve prilike, a provereno dobro. Ne razmišljajte više ni sekunda, već pođite u Masku, na piće ili doručak/ručak/večeru, to je na Vama da odlučite, ali garantujem da. kad odete jednom, stalno ćete joj se vraćati. U tom slučaju ćemo se sigurno sresti, pa ćemo razmeniti utiske.

And now something completely different! When someone asks me what I expect from a place where you go for the first time, I say that I expect them to offer me something that nobody else has and that is, as you will agree, very difficult. When I say something that nobody else has, by that I mean any kind of originality, whether it is about the ambiance, menu, music, etc. As for that '' Maska satisfied my criteria.

Can you imagine that somebody tells you that you will somewhere see all the styles but it would all combined with taste? Of course you can’t! So do not imagine that, but come to 'Maska' and let them convince you that the impossible is possible.

Located in a quiet street in Vracar Municipality, Rankeova Street, across the clinic of Faculty of Dentistry, Maska will amaze you with its delightful originality, even before you step inside - in front of the entrance to the villa you meet a retro car covered in grass and flowers, on which there are a table, a chair and a lamp. So how do you resist and do not see what's inside?

And when you go inside, you are followed by a series of pleasant surprises! The villa has a gound floor, upper floor and a spacious garden, and around you, every corner plunders authenticity. There are chairs in the shape of a fist, shinny disco balls, stylish furniture, couches, wooden, metal tables, etc. While strolling around the villa, you feel like you are going through different epochs and styles, at one point I think I'm in Jamaica or Easter Islands, and in the next like I was teleported to England in Victorian times. All that you can observe by being seated on comfortable couches and from there you will certainly look at a heap of lamps with interesting lampshades, as well as modern ones, or you can take seat on a wooden or metal chair, where while you chat,you will be continuously attracted the by a handful of interesting details, either in the form of figures, statues, carpets or painting. I recently found out that the Maska is a gallery and that all you see here, is for sale, which I was pleasantly surprised, because I really had no idea about it, no matter being their guest for years. This place will impress everyone, especially artistic souls and people who have their own unique style, I believe that this place is great for fashion bloggers, but for us gastro bloggers too, it can’t leave you indifferent.

The menu is of international character, that is, we'll agree, quite expected, considering the interior.There really is something for everyone and everyone will find a dish that suits him. My friend chose a Rump steak with grilled vegetables, and I ordered Risotto with seafood. Rump steak was more than tasty - medium well meat, just as she wanted, great along with grilled vegetables, which are great as a side dish, and I was also very pleased with my meal. Risotto with seafood in tomato sauce, with a slightly sour note was just what I needed for my palate that evening.

With such a rich and diverse menu, it would be really unfair not to mention the superb range of cocktails, which makes you enjoy even more, whichever you choose, you will be extremely satisfied. Hmm, when everything is so beautiful and great, certainly there is a catch, probably everything here is too expensive, right? Just kidding, prices are quite normal, average, as elsewhere, so completely fit into the price-quality ratio.

In addition to great food and great atmosphere, '' Maska '' is known for organizing super gigs, bringing bands who really know how to make the atmosphere, as with a selection of songs, as with radiate energy they emit, every time I have a great time here and I left with the impression as it was a successful evening, whatever band had performed.

The guests, as well as the restaurant, are extremely diverse, and in the morning mainly dominated by students from the Faculty of Dentistry, but of course, they are not the only ones, there are also younger and older, which indicates that this place brings all styles and generations together.

What I would like to say in the end, as the overall impression is that Maska is the place where I really enjoy with all of my senses and a place I keep coming back, whether to go for coffee after work, have a snack, or to go out, the restaurant for all occasions, verified. Do not think any more seconds, but go to the Maska, for a drink or breakfast / lunch / dinner, it's up to you to decide, but I guarantee that when you go once, you will continuously go back to it. In this case, we shall meet again, and we’ll exchange our impressions.

Wurst platz bar

Otkad se otvorio Wurst platz bar u mom kraju (u Starom gradu) redovna sam im gošća. Wurst platz je i kafić, i restoran, i bar, i klub, ma sve u jednom. Od 2015. je mnogo napredovao i dalje teži da bude još bolji. Pre neko veče sam otišla tamo na pivce sa drugaricom, ali to pivce se pretvorilo u večeru, večera se pretvorila u noćni izlazak, a sve to se odigralo na jednom mestu - Wurst platz baru.

Wurst platz bar nalazi se na mestu bivšeg, čuvenog Sport kafea. Prvo ulazite u baštu gde dominiraju drvene stolice i drveni stolovi sa staklom. Pravi uvod u ono što vas čeka kad uđete unutra. Enterijer Wurst platz bara je jednom rečju - Beč usred centra Beograda. Sastoji se iz jednog centralnog dela i jednog kako ga ja zovem sporednog. Stolovi u obliku drvenih burića sa staklom su pun pogodak. Daju dozu opuštenosti, a opet i dozu otmenosti. Tople natural boje dominiraju tako da se osećate nekako ušuškano unutra i prosto ne želite da izađete. Pošto smo se odlučile da petak veče provedemo tamo, na ulazu nas je dočekala hostesa koja je bila izuzetno prijatna (takve se sad retko sreću) i smestila nas za sto u ćošku.

Što se tiče menija prvo da se bacimo na piće. Naravno Wurst platz je primarno pab tako da ovde možete da birate da li želite pivo iz Belgije, Francuske, Amerike.. ma koje god da vam padne pivo na pamet ima ga ovde, i svakog meseca se još više dopunjava meni sa novim vrstama piva. Tu su i kokteli od kojih mi je definitivno omiljeni Mai Tai (pohvale šankeru koji ih sprema). E sad da se bacimo na klopu. Wurst platz bar ima standardni meni sa dosta vrsta austrijskih kobasica, tu su krilca, rebarca.. jednom rečju sve što se dobro slaže sa hladnim pivom. Pored standardnog menija tu je i dnevni meni gde sa 300-400 rsd možete da uživate u domaćoj kuhinji kao kod bake. Što se nas tiče nakon Grimbergena i Paulanera moj izbor je pao na Obrok sa dimljenim kobasicama, a drugarica je naručila Cezar salatu (razumite je, na dijeti je). Jesam li pomenula da je konobar bio super prijatan, mada ga je zbog velike gužve bilo malo teže dozvati.. Ali nema veze. Kada je klopa stigla bila sam oduševljena kako je sve aranžirano.Uz kobasicu je serviran pomfrit, senf, kiseli krastavčići i pohovani kolutići paprike. Apelovala bih ovom prilikom da ubace u obrok kečap (jer kako pomfrit bez kečapa) i kolutiće luka (nije velika investicija, a prija nepcima uz kobasice). Cezar salata je takođe bila lepo servirana sa cezar dresingom serviranim u mini teglici (preslatko).

Negde oko 22h počela je i živa svirka. Izbor pesama pravi pabski sa primesama komercijale. Jednom rečju fantastičan užitak za sva čula. 

Što se tiče cena klopa je zaista jeftina, cene pića su malo više, ali mora da se održi neki balans. Ranije su tokom svirki cene bile više za 20 %, ali izgleda da to više ne praktikuju što je super za moj džep. Preko dana imate akcije kada možete da dobijete popust 15 %. 

Atmosfera u Wurstu je vesela, neuštogljena, opijajuća. Jednostavno ne možete da se ne zaljubite u ovo mesto. Ja mu se redovno vraćam i uvek ga toplo preporučujem svim svojim prijateljima, a ovom prilikom i vama. Ukoliko volite pivo, a prerasli ste KST, kornjače i lokalne irish pabove ovo je pravo mesto za vas.

Since the Wurst Platz bar opened in my neighborhood (in Stari grad Municipality) I became their regular guest. Wurst Platz is a cafe, a restaurant and bar, and the club, everything in one. Since 2015 it has improved a lot and still tends to be even better. The other night I went there for a beer with a friend, but that beer turned into dinner, the evening turned into a night out, and it all happened in one place - Wurst Platz bar.

Wurst Platz bar is located on the site of the former, famous Sport cafe. First you enter the garden which is dominated by wooden chairs and wooden glass tables. The real introduction to what awaits you when you enter inside. Interior of the Wurst Platz bar is in one word – Vienna, in the middle of the city center. It consists of a central part and one that I call secondary. Tables in the form of wooden barrels with glass tops are absolute spot on. They give a dose of relaxation, yet a dose of class. Warm natural colors dominate so you feel somehow tucked in and you just don’t  want to leave. Since we decided to spend our Friday night there, at the entrance we were greeted by the hostess who was very pleasant (these are now rarely seen) and placed us at the table in the corner.

As for the menu, first let's look at drinks. Of course Wurst Platz is primarily a pub so here you can choose whether you want a beer from Belgium, France, America.. whatever beer you can think of, they have it, and every month they further complement the menu with new types of beer. There are also cocktails of which my favorite definitely is Mai Tai (well done bartender!). Now let's get something to eat. Wurst Platz bar has a standard menu with many kinds of Austrian sausages, there are chicken wings, ribs .. in a word, everything that goes well with a cold beer. In addition to the standard menu there is a daily menu, where for 300-400 rsd you can enjoy homemade meals, like at your grandma’s. As for us, after Grimbergen and Paulaner my choice is the meal with smoked sausage, a friend had ordered Caesar salad (understand it, she’s on a diet). Did I mention that the waiter was super friendly, although due to the large crowd it was a bit hard to get a hold of him .. But it does not matter. When the food arrived I was amazed how everything was arranged.With a sausage you get French fries, mustard, pickles and fried bell peppers rings. I would use this opportunity to tell them that it would be nice if they serve some ketchup along the meal (how can you it French fries without ketchup) and onion rings (not a big investment, but it would please the palate along with sausages). Caesar salad was also nicely served with Caesar dressing served in a mini jar (too cute).

Around 22h live gig began. The songs selection fits a pub atmosphere, with a hint of commercial music. In a word, fantastic treat for all your senses.

Price ratio- food is really cheap, drink prices are a little higher, but there has to be some balance. Earlier, during gigs prices were higher by 20%, but it seems that this is no longer practiced, which is great for my wallet. During the day, you get a 15% discount.

The atmosphere in the Wurst bar is live, not stiff, intoxicating. You simply can’t help falling in love with this place. I'm going back to it regularly and always highly recommend to all my friends, and with this opportunity to you. If you like beer, you have outgrown KST club, Turtle pub and local irish pubs this is the right place for you.

Voulez-vous

Dobar blog, kao i svako pisanje, mora da ispuni prvi i osnovni kriterijum - objektivnost. Autor nikako ne sme da bude subjektivan i da nameće svoje stavove, već čitaocima mora da pruži realnu sliku onoga o čemu piše, koliko god da mu se nešto sviđa ili ne sviđa. Međutim, kad je reč o Voulez-vous-u, između objektivnog i subjektivnog stoji znak jednakosti.

Da me pitate koji je najbolji restoran u Beogradu, iskrena da budem, ne bih znala odmah da odgovorim, ali da me sada, u ovom trenutku to pitate, odgovor bi definitivno bio Voulez-vous. Pa, da počnemo!

Za Voules-vouz mogu reći da je to bila ljubav na prvi pogled. Ušuškan na Vračaru, u ulici Đorđa Vajferta, ovaj restoran već osvaja svojom lokacijom, tj. okruženjem. Prvo što me je oduševilo je prostrana bašta, koja je leti zaista idealna za bleju, bilo da hoćete da dođete na jutarnju kaficu, osveženje posle posla, ili na obrok, pod strehom suncobrana, uživaćete u hladovini ovog prelepog ambijenta. Enterijer ništa ne zaostaje za eksterijerom. Moderan dizajn, uređeno sa dosta ukusa, sve se nalazi u jednom nivou. Kad uđete, pogled vam prvo pada na veliki šank koji se nalazi na kraju restorana iza kog se nalazi veliki broj uredno složenih, raznovrsnih pića.Od šanka, pa duž celog prostora, nalaze se drveni stolovi sa naizmenično, stolicama i foteljama, kao i visoko sedenje. Prosek godina gostiju je uglavnom između 25-35. U skladu sa prelepo uređenim restoranom je i osoblje. Preljubazni, nasmejani konobari koji u svemu hoće da vam izađu u susret.

Nakon što smo se smestile za sto u ćošku, naše omiljeno mesto, kako bismo imale pregled svega, pogledale smo meni koji je i više nego raznovrstan, internacionalnog karaktera. Ovde je, takođe, super stvar, što se meni menja na mesečnom nivou, tako da se razbija monotonija, a neka posebno super jela su u stalnoj ponudi. Posle malo dužeg razmišljanja ja sam se odlučila za biftek holandez, a drugarica za teletinu cancun na ratatouille povrću (taljata od telećeg šola, lingvini u kremastom sosu sa paprikom i bosiljkom, salata od krastavca i maslina, miks zelenih salata sa šargarepom i radičem). Mogu slobodno da kažem da je ovo jedno od jela u kom sam u životu najviše uživala. Biftek 4h pečen na 60°, kao na suncu, što se kaže, harmonija ukusa kakvu sam retko gde mogla da osetim. Lično više volim krvav biftek, prepečen spolja, ali za ovaj sam se namerno odlučila, za promenu i nisam se ni u jednom trenutku pokajala. Mladi krompirići su svakako doprineli da jelo ima poseban šmek, a pečena jabuka, na kojoj je bio serviran biftek je definitivno dala jednu notu koja stvara perfektnu melodiju ukusa. Utisci moje drugarice su takođe bili i više nego pozitivni, a kokteli koje smo pijuckale celo veče su bili ono što je celu kompoziciju večeri dovelo do vrhunca užitka. Trebalo bi još da spomenem da se ovde hleb ne naplaćuje, dobija se besplatno uz svako jelo. Probale smo ga, naravno i utisak nije ništa manji u odnosu na ostatak hrane - ukusan, svež, mekan, položili su kod nas sa najvišim ocenama.

Da se vratim malo na osoblje. Pored već pomenutih preljubaznih konobara, menadžer je isto zaslužio sve pohvale, tokom večeri je išao od stola do stola i pitao goste da li su zadovoljni. Bravo, to su te sitnice koje čine da se nalazite među najboljima.

Ono što me je, takođe, prijatno iznenadilo je to što kad sam otišla do toaleta zatekla sam nešto što se u Beogradu zaista retko viđa - ispred toaleta stoji higijeničarka koja sve vreme održava higijenu, odmah nakon što gost izađe ona uđe da pospremi. Njoj takođe veliki plus za ljubaznost. To je karakteristika svih poznatih svetskih restorana, pa moramo i ovde da pohvalimo menadžment koji na sve misli.

Cene su sasvim korektne, a s obzirom na ono što dobijate, zaista je vredno da posetite ovo mesto.

Za kraj mogu da kažem samo to da ko želi da se bavi ugostiteljstvom, neka samo jednom poseti Voulez-vous i mnogo toga će naučiti. Želim im sve najbolje u daljem radu i ne sumnjam da će održati nivo koji imaju, a možda i unaprediti, ako je to ikako moguće.

If you asked me which is the best restaurant in Belgrade, to be honest, I wouldn’t know what to say right away, but to me now, at this moment, the answer would definitely be Voulez-vous. Well, let's start!

Voules-vouz, I can say that it was love at first sight. Tucked in Vracar Municipality, in Djordja Vajferta Street, this restaurant already overwhelmes by its location, ie. environment. The first thing that impressed me was the spacious garden, which is really ideal for chilling, whether you want to get a morning coffee, refreshments after work, or a meal, under the eaves of the umbrellas, you'll enjoy the shade of this beautiful environment. Interior is nothing inferior to the exterior. Modern design, equipped with a lot of taste, all located in one level. When you enter, first thing you see is a large bar located in the back of a restaurant, behind which there is a large number of stacked, various drinks .From the bar, along the entire area, there are wooden tables with alternating, chairs and armchairs, as well as high seating. The average age of guests is usually between 25-35. In accordance, with beautifully decorated restaurant, is the staff. Too kind, smiling waiters who want to please you for everything you ask for.
After we settled in the corner table, our favorite place, so that we have an overview of everything, we looked at a menu that is more than diverse and of international character. There is a great thing in this restaurant:  the menu changes on a monthly basis, so that it breaks the monotony and some super special dishes are constantly offered. After some long thinking I decided for a steak Hollandaise, and my friend ordered Veal cancun on ratatouille vegetables (veal medallions tagliata, linguini in a creamy sauce with bell peppers and basil,  cucumber and olives salad, mixed green salad with carrots and chicory). I can freely say that this is one of the dishes in which I enjoyed the most in my life. Steak 4h baked at 60 ° as in the sun, as they say, a harmony of taste what I've rarely been able to feel. I prefer a bloody steak, well done on the outside, but I deliberately decided to change that for this and I did not regret for a moment. Young potatoes have certainly contributed to the dish to have a special charm, a baked apple, on which the steak was served definitely gave a single note that creates a melody of perfect taste . My friend’s impressions have also been more than positive, and the cocktails we sipped all evening were leading to the climax of pleasure of the whole evening composition. I should further mention that in this restaurant they do not charge for the bread, it is included with every meal for free. We tried it, and of course the impression is nothing less than the rest of the food - delicious, fresh, soft, they passed the test with highest score.

To go back a little on the staff. Besides the already mentioned polite waiters, the manager also deserves all the praise, during the evening he went from table to table and asked guests if they were satisfied. Bravo, it's the little things like that that make this restaurant be among the best ones.

What I was also pleasantly surprised with is that when I went to the bathroom I found something that in Belgrade is really rarely seen - in front of the toilets stands who maintains hygiene at all times, as soon as the guest leaves the bathroom, it gets cleaned. She also gets a big plus for kindness. This is characteristic of all the world famous restaurant, so we have to praise the management that thinks about everything.

Prices are moderate, but considering what you get, it really is worth it to visit this place.

Bottom line, whoever wants to be in catering industry, should visit Voulez-vous only once and will learn a lot. I wish them all the best in their future work and I have no doubt that they will maintain the level they have, and perhaps improve, if that is possible at all.

Velike stepenice

Restoran "Velike stepenice". Pogled na Dunav. Nekada bio jedan od mojih najdražih restorana, a onda se sve preokrenulo. Pa da krenem otpočetka. 

Sam prostor bih mogla da okarakterišem kao simpatičan. Malo zapušten, vidi se da dugo niko nije ulagao u njega. Da nema terasu sa pogledom na Dunav i savršenu lokaciju u ulici Velike stepenice, mislim da bi odavno propao. Drveni stolovi, drvene stolice, tu i tamo neki ukras, koji je toliko neupadljiv da nisam ni zapamtila šta je predstavljao. Pun prašine, sa flekama na podmetačima za hranu samo je dodatno budio u meni sumnju na to u kakvom im je stanju onda tek kuhinja. Konobar totalno nezaiteresovan, kao da je tu zato što eto mora da bude. Nikakva prisnost niti prijatna komunikacija. Meni je zanimljiv.. internacionalnog karaktera, paste, pizze, roštilj, imaju čak i kinesku hranu (mislim da je to ipak malo previše mešanja kuhinja). Kokteli, vino, pivo, kolači, sve što vam padne na pamet možete da nađete u meniju. Naručujem pastu sa morskim plodovima. Moram da napomenem da je ovo restoran u kom sam jela naaajbolju pastu sa morskim plodovima, i zato sam mu se iznova vraćala bez obzira na prašnjave podmetače. Ali, ovaj put je bio ujedno i moj poslednji dolazak u ovaj restoran. Pasta koju sam nekada jela ovde i koju sam svima preporučivala nije bila ni izbliza kao pre. Umesto sočne paste sa paradajz sosom, predivnim izborom morskih plodova, i povrćem, dobila sam pastu sa malo maslinovog ulja i najjevtinijom verzijom morskih plodova kupljenih u maxiju. Da li je potrebno da naglašavama koliko sam bila razočarana.. Kao prvo nije mi jasno kako neki restoran može da promeni tako drastično recept za neko jelo. U meniju i dalje piše kako je pasta sa pelatom.. U mojoj nije bilo ni p od pelata. Pritom da zlo bude veće u pastu su mi ubacili i svež paradajz iseckan na kockice, ne znam koji efekat je taj paradajz trebalo da da.. Žao mi je što nisam slikala tu pastu, ali bila sam u prevelikom šoku.

Odnos cena kvalitet i više nego bezobrazan. Da ne bude da sam ceo post posvetila pasti, primera radi cena Erdinger piva je 395 rsd. Isti taj Erdinger u centru grada u najzvučnijim pabovima popićete za 295 rsd. Tako da cene pića su iznad proseka.

Što se tiče celokupne atmosfere u restoranu, za nju je zadužen bend koji je isto kao i hrana nazadovao. Ovaj restoran mi se i svideo zbog tog nekog latino fazona kada je muzika u pitanju, međutim sada kada sam bila i to je promenilo. Bend je ostao isti, ali od latino muzike ni traga ni glasa. Zamenio ju je komercijalni pop.

Zaključak - od restorana koji sam sa velikom radošću svima preporučivala spao je na restoran u koji više nikada ne bih kročila. Pogled na reku naći ću već negde drugde.

Restaurant "Velike stepenice". View of the Danube. Used to be one of my favorite restaurants, and then everything changed. So to go from the start.

The space itself could be characterized as likeable. A little rusty, you can see that for long no one has invested in it. If there weren’t a terrace overlooking the Danube and the perfect location at the Velike stepenice Street, I think this restaurant would have been closed long ago. Wooden tables, wooden chairs, here and there some decoration, which is so unobtrusive that I did not remember what he represented. Full of dust, with stains on the food mats only further aroused suspicion in me as I wondered in what condition the kitchen is. The waiter totally disinterested as if he was there just because that's where he has to be. No intimacy nor pleasant communication. The menu is interesting .. of international character, pasta, pizza, barbecue, even Chinese food (I think that's a bit too much of fusion cuisine). Cocktails, wine, beer, cakes, everything you can think of can be found in the menu. I order pasta with seafood. I have to mention that this is a restaurant where I ate the best pasta with seafood, so I came back again and again, regardless of dusty coasters. But this time this was also my last visit to this restaurant. Pasta dish I've used to eat here, and which I recommended to everyone, wasn’t nearly as before. Instead juicy pasta with tomato sauce, a magnificent selection of seafood, and vegetables, I got pasta with a little olive oil and the cheapest version of the seafood purchased in a local grocery shop. Is it necessary to point out how much I was disappointed .. First of all,I do not understand how a restaurant can change a dish recipe so drastically. In the menu it still stands that this pasta comes with tomato sauce .. in mine there was none. Even worse, they put some diced fresh tomatoes in this pasta, I do not know what the point of this tomato should be .. I'm still sorry I did not take a photo of this pasta dish, but I was too shocked.

The price- quality ratio is more than rude. Not to be that I dedicated my whole post to pasta, for example the price of Erdinger beer is 395 rsd. The same beer in the most known downtown pubs you can drink for 295 rsd. So drink prices are above average.

As for the overall atmosphere in the restaurant, a band  is responsible for that, and like the food, the band itself deteriorated. This restaurant I liked because of that Latino mood when it comes to music, but that day that itself has changed. The band has remained the same, but no sign from the Latin music. It was replaced by a commercial pop.

Conclusion - from the restaurant which i recommended to all with great joy, it went to a restaurant I’d never set foot in again. View of the river I’ll find elsewhere.
